ELLE Style Reporter blog party.

After months of a nationwide search for the next ELLE Style Reporter in association with BlackBerry, Cape Town’s Niquita Bento of Neck of the woods took the title and the opportunity to launch a new career at last night’s ELLE Style Reporter 2013 blog party in Cape Town. Film, fashion, design, photography, music and architecture shaped this year’s event where fashion’s conceptual visionaries Suzaan Heyns and Black Coffee exhibited their work and guests celebrated the new voices in local style reporting. I personally have been a great fan of her work from the first challenge, her work is minimal yet captures the elements of her surrounding so beautifully.

CSquared | #TOPSWAG Pop Up Studio Party

Following the success of the Jozi finalist party at Set lounge, cutting edge menswear brand Csquared hosted a studio pop party in celebration of the Cape Town finalist who made it into the top 27.  The somewhat intimate and interactive studio affair was held at SDR studio and saw the finalists being photographed live by Simon Deiner himself.

MR PRICE | JANE ELIZABETH KOTZE

Jane Elizabeth Kotze’s range for MRP Project hit selected stores today. Now if you didn't know, Jane is the ELLE Rising Star 2012 Design Award winner and as part of the prize, she was afforded an opportunity to work with Mr Price to design a limited edition range with the retailer. 

The vintage inspired range draws influences from Jane's love for  fabrics, print mixing, summer colours and of course holiday destinations. I love how the quirkiness of the range bring an element of summer fun. With the ELLE Rising Star 2013 Design Award in association with Mr Price taking place this thursday, this is an impeccable time to launch the range, If only I were a girl.

Pichulik SS'14 Lookbook

The Pichulik Summer campaign was shot at Chandler House, photographed Alix-Rose Cowie,styled by  Kate Desmarais. The hair and make-up was by Sian Bianca Moss and the model is Veda from Boss Models. Clothes from Adriaan Kuiters, Mungo & Jemima, Afraid of Mice.
