MBFWJ | David Tlale

It was hectic thunder storms and heavy downpours at Hyde park last night, a somewhat response by the fashion Gods as David Tlale show started relatively on time, which was rather refreshing. 

The King as he is known,  preached the gospel with a ready to wear A|W 2012 collection that is both daring and on trend.  I loved collection's use of  fabrication and patterns, from  lace to exotic  leather and from geometric shapes to my personal favorite hounds-tooth. The exploration of sequins, peplums and pussy bows gave the collection a more lady like feel.

An outstanding rich and warm collection that truly defines a South African winter.

MBFWJ | Kluk CGDT

 Kluk CGDT showcased a rather theatrical collection which draws it's influences from  Space Spain and time, 30's to 60's detailed elegance that explores the female form in various cloths from sheer to velvet. The palette was rich tones berry, yellow and navy blue with a bit of space graphical print.

 A classy elegant collection meant of a red carpet events.
