It some what pains me that I did not get a chance missed a chance to do a post on Abigail Betz autumn/winter 2011 collection, which was by far one of the collections that spoke to me. The collection is simple and wearable with floral pieces with a 50's drawn influence.

COS Lookbook

I have uncovered something new and exciting, in addition to Zara it too has stolen my heart. Introducing my new love COS, mostly based in Europe the clothing brand left me breathless. It however saddens that the brand is not available in South Africa.

What your about to see is a from their recent lookbook, and i thought since South African winters are not that cold,they might work for our winter.

David Tlale on webinar

I got an email yesterday from standard bank student achiever inviting me to join then in a ten minute interview with one of the most established South African designers David Tlale. The webinar interview (read: the online tv interview) began at 12pm today and for some odd reason  thought today was Thursday and I did not prepare a series of questions to ask, which resulted in me missing half on the interview.

I manage to come up with a set of question all to find out the my PC had a sound malfunction, before I could sort the problem up the interview was over.

One of my favorite ladies in fashion Anna Wintour graced the cover of WSJ with a somewhat catchy title " the business of being Anna". WSJ is not related all all to fashion i'm rather intrigued what Anna had to say.
