New York Fashion week.

It's yet another fashion week season and the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week for 2012 is well on it's way. As thousands of fashion enthusiest gather to witness the au courant spring 2012 collections from almost 100 designers. While the likes of Anna Wintour and the pack ensconce the front row seats.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is once again joining forces with Maybelline and YouTube to offer live online streams of the runways at Lincoln Center. Join the youtube channel, so you too can the the front row seat where ever you are in the world.

The night of may 2nd, was the night of glitz and glam as the rich and famous attended the fashion oscars (Read: Met Ball). Inspired by the art  work of the late Alexander McQueen, the Costume Institute Gala was bound to have plenty of drama and decadence, it almost guaranteed to have the most stylish red carpet line-up the event has yet seen.

While most where dressed to honour Alexander McQueen, while red,black and lace were the order of the day, there was an orgy of   nude palettes on the red carpet. Like the Oscar my best dressed goes to Florence Welch the vocalist from Florence+machine and others.

One of my favorite ladies in fashion Anna Wintour graced the cover of WSJ with a somewhat catchy title " the business of being Anna". WSJ is not related all all to fashion i'm rather intrigued what Anna had to say.
