Kluk CGDT was by far the best at the Arise Mag Fashion week, i love the variations ifn the fabrics the talented duo used, a job well done .

I became a fan of Gert's work when he left DFC, which I think gave him an opportunity to grow as a young African designer.It's rather sad to say that i have never seen his work on the ramp before. The Arise fashion week gave me an opportunity to further explore what this young talented design can spread his wings.
The collection comprised of floral pieces with feathers and lace, I was however quite disappointed because some of the garments I've seen before and date to around a year ago.

Arise Mag Fashion Week.
The Arise magazine fashion week 2011 was held in Lagos, Nigeria from the 10th to the 13th of march, where about 50 African designers got an opportunity to show case their A/W2011 collections.
The 2nd day of the event saw designer Jo Black Craze with his collection to rather impress the average African male, my absolute favourite are the double breasted blazer.
