Local design duo Klûk CGDT well known for their exceptional fashion shows, showcased their latest collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa recently . In addition to the showcase, the designers have introduced the world to the ‘White Mischief’ collection with their fashion film of the same name featuring South Africas modelling sensation Katryn Kruger at Taj hotel serving the brand’s most exquisite designs from their offering at MBFWA. I'm like totally obsessed with the Vid, it's totally major. I can't believe I've missed it all along.

Scott Schuman also know as The Sartorialist was in town for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Africa, while we say a few snaps from him at fashion week, our very own street style blogger Anthony Bila aka The Expressionist got to share with us, what the fashionistas wore.
The Expressionist will be posting ten more snaps everyday this week so keep a look out on his blog.

The urban streets just got more quirkier, Craig Native's offering at the MBFWA certainly kept to his Afrocentric influenced aesthetic. Denim and camouflage infusion were dominant in the collection, while prints and artistic detailing gave the collection an African modern quirk yet still wearable.

MBFWA | Projecto Mental
26 October 2012
The dynamic design duo behind Projecto Mental redefined the African man in their lasted showcase at #MBFWA. The collection finds the perfect balance between the merging of contemporary African menswear with classical menswear. I love the Reconstruction and rebirth of the modern suit with the clever use of ethic prints and color.

MBFWA | LaurenceAirline
Hello sweets, sorry for being rather quite on y'all's behinds, It's been a rather hectic couple of of weeks with exams being near and sh♥t. Anyway the 23rd of October marked my 25th birthday (read: God! I'm too old) and the 24th marked official opening of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa, where designer Laurence Chauvin Buthaud of LaurenceAirline showcased her perfectly balanced mix textiles and fabrics, which gave the collection a somewhat juxtaposition of print boldness and softness in silky tones of green, tangerine and neutals . Well-known for her use of African prints, this collection did not move away from her aesthetic,Totally loved her African take the PJ trend, I loved the clever sleekness and sophistication in the construction.
