PFW | Zuhair Murad RTW Spring 2013

From Champagne golds and sexy nudes meet lace embroidery, to metallic shimmers and fiery reds with sequin embellishments, these are some of the textures that set the scene and define the Zuhair Murad women in all feminine glory. The Zuhair Murad's ready-to-wear 2013 collection has sense Kluk CGDT influences and forms part of  the a larger band made in Italy, while the more glam pret-a-porter pieces with intricate detailing were made in Lebanon. I absolutely love the red silk satin coat with lace appliqué, creative genius.

From the front row to the ramp, Kanye West premired his Dw ( named after his late mother Donna West) womens wear line at Paris fashion week, Although a bit too heavy for summer, I was very Impressed by the collection from neckline to the symmetry.

StreetStyle: Menwear fashion week.

Italian Vogue editor Franca Sozzani is not a fan of men dressing in high fashion, She was quoted in the recent British Vouge interview saying "I dislike men in fashion. I don't like it when a man dresses as a fashionista. I don't think it's attractive at all. Women in fashion, on the other hand, are very attractive. Women can always make you dream." While I find her statement to be rather an insult to men who are pioneers of style (Think: Andrej Pejic and Marc Jacobs), Men in fashion contnue to inspire me, here are some on my favourite street styles as seen in recent #PFW and #MFW.

Balmain Spring/Summer 2012

Newly appointed creative director Olivier Rousteing, debuts rock chic S/S2012 collection with great street appeal while keeping in connection with the traditional Balmain aesthetic. The look are young and fresh, a bit heavy for an ideal South African summer. from vests with leather appliqué to the hooded waist coat, the look are simple with lots of layering.

#PFW Hermès S/S 2012

I hear of Hermès and I think sophisticated luxury with the touch of elegance, a feel creative director Veronique Nichanian created for the their spring/summer 2012 collection. The collection feature simple yet classic pieces, 
from chic shorts ( which I would think twice before putting them on) to pyjama inspired loss fitted trousers with basic palettes. sexy style for the relaxed man.
