Topshop has collaborated with sportswear brand adidas Originals to create a 20-piece collection, available in stores as at the 20 March ( V&A Waterfront | Sandton City ). The infusion of sportswear with youthful femininity gives the collection versatility that can easily transcend as an everyday fashion staple and sports performance.
The Topshop design team has raided the adidas Originals archives and reimagined heritage classics in unique street style looks. Classics are re-animated in bespoke prints and re-engineered by cutting edge designers to create the ultimate capsule collection. Iconic silhouettes have been taken right back to basics then cut up for a fresh take on urban favourites. Basic fits are slimmed down while attitude is ramped up.
Prints are inspired by London landscapes as Adidas Originals’ urban heritage comes out to play, preaching new rules and taking no prisoners. The iconic 3 stripes and trefoil shout out from graffiti graphics and high-rise repeats, staking their territory and winning the game.
