The Shoestring Collective Pop-up Shop.

 The Shoestring Collective, a pop-up store in Gardens centre, brings a selection of local creatives from fields of fashion ,accessories, interiors , ceramics and more together. Ran by 16 local designers who have been carefully selected to showcase their work. Each designer has curated their own space within the shop, these include  2Bop, a ring to it, Anomali, Bow Peep, Coppelia, Dark Horse, Famke, Good Clothing, Handmade by Me, Lost is a place too, Love Lolla, Maiden Name, Oh Dear Megan, Selfi, and Windowsill.
The pop-up store is opened Monday to Sunday and will runs for a month from the July to 11th August.

Csquared Flagship Store Launch.

 A while back I attended the flagship store launch of  the cutting edge menswear brand Csquared at Canal Walk. I arrived at the launch 2 hours late so there isn't much to tell from my side, however I truly hope the pics would tell 1000 words if not 999 words and if not see here for the low down.

Jessica Yatrofsky’s digital installation suspends over the roof  top of St Martin  in Paris, showcasing Jean Paul Gaultier’s S/S'14 menswear collection.The collection sees a fusion between a business man’s wardrobe and with that of a tourists, which translates as a play on the iconic pieces of a any man’s wardrobe – pinstripe suit made from pajama silk to weave crafted knits.
The collection also includes Retro floral prints, cut-out details that invert the classic male wardrobe to explore a new kind of man, a range from bermuda skirt-shorts, tailored jackets with a  painted kaleidoscope of textures and lines that reshape masculinity yet keeps the heritage of the brand.

adidas Originals x Bedwin & The Heartbreakers AW13

adidas Originals and Tokyo’s Bedwin & The Heartbreakers recently collaborated to unveiled the AW13 lookbook highlighting their upcoming range of sporty urban street-wear.
The forthcoming collections sees the Bedwin guys rethinking a variety of archival pieces from their own vault and that of the Three Stripes aesthetic adidas has been known since the 70s. The use of bold hues and the unexpected placement of stripe motifs, appear as a unifying factor throughout the collection were classic, tailored sportswear is paired with the likes of cropped trousers, button-down shirts and ties.
