The met ball.

The night of may 2nd, was the night of glitz and glam as the rich and famous attended the fashion oscars (Read: Met Ball). Inspired by the art  work of the late Alexander McQueen, the Costume Institute Gala was bound to have plenty of drama and decadence, it almost guaranteed to have the most stylish red carpet line-up the event has yet seen.

While most where dressed to honour Alexander McQueen, while red,black and lace were the order of the day, there was an orgy of   nude palettes on the red carpet. Like the Oscar my best dressed goes to Florence Welch the vocalist from Florence+machine and others.

Street: Royal Wedding

The royal weeding was surely on of the major event of year century,with it trending from social networks such as twitter, one can conclude that everyone was in the royal wedding fever. I manage to catch a bit of the live streaming of the wedding and I must add, it like anything I've never seen before.

With invites being exclusive the Brits took the streets to enjoy the royal festivities and the Vogue UK's Venetia van Hoorn Alkema and  Andy Bumpus were there to capture the moments.
