adidas Originals x Bedwin & The Heartbreakers AW13

adidas Originals and Tokyo’s Bedwin & The Heartbreakers recently collaborated to unveiled the AW13 lookbook highlighting their upcoming range of sporty urban street-wear.

The forthcoming collections sees the Bedwin guys rethinking a variety of archival pieces from their own vault and that of the Three Stripes aesthetic adidas has been known since the 70s. The use of bold hues and the unexpected placement of stripe motifs, appear as a unifying factor throughout the collection were classic, tailored sportswear is paired with the likes of cropped trousers, button-down shirts and ties.

Umabo | Sindiso Khumalo AW13/14

Following her AW13/14 collection showcase at the Labo Ethnik Fashion week in London recently, ELLE x Mr Price rising star award  finalist, Sindiso Khumalo has released a lookbook for the collection.

Drawing Inspiration from her travels in rural  Kwazulu Natal, Sindiso continues to explore her love for prints, fusing digital geometric prints with hand geometric embroidery by the women from the region. 

I am truly amazed on how the use and balance of the prints give the simply minimal silhouette a bold characteristic.
