Mr Price has done yet again, the retailer announced that it will be collaborating with talent dynamic duo, the Holmes Bros for their limited edition winter range fly Holmes. The range draw inspiration from the 50's, rock chic meets retro quirk.  The range is out in selected Mr Price stores countrywide.

Mr Price | Project range for guys

Well done Mr Price, I am absolutely loving the new project range for guys. A bit of a break from the traditional South African menswear, which is rather refreshing. Tribal influenced prints + super slouchy tees are two of my favourite trends at the moment and the combination is just totes amaze.

I am looking forward to see more project ranges for guys which are along these lines.

Now excuse me while go turn my room upside now for R70, while the range is still in store.

Amber Jones X Mr Price.

Mr Price persist to give a platform to fresh local fashion designers and one such designer is Amber Jones of Thunder in our hearts. Amber's collection titled "The best is yet to come" was designed for the Elle new talent designer search 2010, the commercialised rage is said to hit the Mr price stores in November.

Mr Price (ND) Winner 031 collection.

Yesterday mark the 1st Mr Price New Designer Awards, although I was not there I somewhat felt how intense the night was as the finalist showcased an array of design talent. From Ruff Tung to Holmes Brothers, each with a new flair on fashion and style, the 031 collection clearly shows how much design talent we have in the country.

To be frank, I was impressed by the work of  all participants but there had to be one winner.  selected by a high  panel of judges, which includes British model Agyness Deyn, SA Fashion Week convener Lucilla Booysen, award winning fashion journalist Milisuthando Bongela, designer Leigh Schubert and Mr Price trend executive Joanne Coehlo, Winner Cindy Armstrong offer a chic and well executed collection that comprises of flowy, well shaped fabrics and loads of head gear (Think: Stiaan Louw's '6' collection).

well done to Cindy and the other talented participants, looking forward to seeing more of your work in the near future.

Style By Aggy Deyn.

Although I could not be in Durban to witness the Mr Price New Design awards, I was very much informed of the proceedings of the event thanks to twitter ( follow: @fake_angel @031collection and @MrPriceFashion). I would not get to the details on how saddened I was not to meet British supermodel Aggy Deyn, however I absolutely loved how she styled the Mr Price range on day one of the event.
